PLAYGROUND DESIGN
Mrs. Peters asked the school council to design a TRIM TRAIL adventure playground for the edge of our field next to the tyre park.

The children asked each member of their class  to vote for their favourite peice of equipment. All votes were counted and handed over to Mrs. Peters. The good news is Mrs. Peters has instructed the builders to install All of the obstacles. This is due to the generosity of FODS, our fantastic parents association who have funded this project.
It was opened in January by Mrs. Rathmell(Chair of FODS).

Click on the icon .wmv MS Windows Media File (14,849 KB) (This will open in a new window)to view a photo story of the TRIM TRAIL opening day.

CHARITY SUPPORT

Dawpool has supported many charities over the last few years.  Including Comic Relief, Children in Need and this week will see us all dressing up as a sports personality for Sport relief. Who would you like to support this year.

Do you think we should support these big charities or smaller ones closer to our hearts?

Dawpool Staff are going to complete the 15 mile Coastal Walk to raise money for Mia who used to be a pupil at Dawpool who is very poorly.

Should we support charities in our local area or support people far
away who are less fortunate than ourselves

Uganda
Uganda
Christine Blair came to visit us from the Rock Of Joy Trust
who are working with schools in Uganda
to help give children a better education. Click here to go to their website  and see for yourself what work they are doing.

Talk with your school council rep and let them know who you would like to help.
