Welcome to Manor Park School & Nursery
 |
Manor Park has recently celebrated its 50th Birthday. We held a special celebration assembly to mark the occasion. Children sang songs, shared art work and dressed up in the style of clothes from the past fifty years.

Lego Workshops - 23rd and 24th June 2010
 |
Children had a fantastic time at the lego team building
workshops. They built model houses and used their imagination to include a range of creative features in their designs such as
swimming pools, garages and roof gardens! Children then
created a lego city by arranging all of their models together. The finished city looked absolutely amazing and children were very proud of what they had produced.
Some of the junior children had the opportunity to bring their cities to life by designing working transport systems which required them to use their knowledge of electricial circuits. A wonderful time was had by everyone!

Sports day 2010
The sun has been shining on both the junior and infant sports days. Children had lots of fun taking part in a variety of activities and enjoyed their half time ice lollies!
Manor Park celebrates the start of the World Cup!
On Thursday 10th June children came to school in football kits or World Cup colours. Sarah, who is a football referee gave a fun and informative talk about the World Cup and told us about what she does in her role as a referee. After school each class had a stall at the cake sale and sold lots of delicious cakes and biscuits. Thank you to everyone who helped to support this event.
GIRLS FOOTBALL!
Year 5 & 6 girls took part in the first local girls football tournament on Tuesday 27th April. We had six girls taking part with other local schools at Egerton Football Club - they played four games and won two of them! Some fantastic goals were scored by Tia and Charlie! Well done to them all.
Any girls interested in developing their football skills can take part at Egerton Football Club; training will start on Thursday 6th March at 6.00pm - 7.30pm, only £1 per session; for further information please contact Mark on 07980 706938.
Music Workshops
|
BTec students from Knutsford High
School have been visiting Manor Park
to lead music workshops with different classes. This has been a wonderful experience for all classes and has really increased the children's
enthusiasm for music and given
them a 'taster' of how they can
develop their musical talents when
they move to the high school. |
