General Information
This year PE will be every Thursday and Friday. Please ensure your child has a named kit in school (including outdoor kit and trainers).
Snack and dinner money should be sent to school on Monday in a named envelope.
Homework
Children must choose two activities to complete from the list given which aims to meet the needs of different learning styles.
Please see the homework page for details.
Children will have weekly spellings to learn. Please help your child to see any spelling patterns within the words.
Literacy or Maths based activities will be given on a Friday to be handed in on the following Monday. Your child is also expected to read each day.
It is very important that your child knows the multiplication tables. Weekly tests will be held with children recording their progress. When they succeed at quickly answering random multiplication questions for all the tables they are presented with a certificate.
Computer Maths
To help children develop mental maths skills we are asking them to complete at least twenty minutes each week on the sumdog site. (See homework page for link) A lunch time club will take place for children who have limited access to a computer or the internet. |
