Welcome to Prestbury Church of England Primary School’s Learning Platform. I hope the platform will give you an insight into all that takes place at our school and why in our most recent Ofsted the school received the top grade of Outstanding in every category and the inspector observed that, ‘Children love coming to school’.
In our recent SIAS (Church Inspection October 2012) we received the top grade of Outstanding and the report stated:
The staff team has an outstanding work ethic and they spoke of the support and encouragement they get from each other. Their knowledge of all the children helps create a caring and safe environment for them. Children with special needs are supported very well.
Our school verse encompasses all that we are about as a school- 'Let your light shine.. that people may see your good deeds and priase your Father in heaven.' Matthew 5v16
The verse incoporates three important areas: The light of the Good News; The light of individual talents and The light of a good neighbour.
