What is a childminding network?
A childminding network is a group of Ofsted registered quality assured childminders. Members of the network are supported by a network coordinator. The coordinator is employed to support and encourage the continued professional development of each childminder. The        co-ordinator will also work with parents and local organisations who may use the network’s services

Before a childminder can join a childminding network they must demonstrate to the network coordinator that they have high professional
standards by undertaking a qualitative assessment. Once a childminder has been accepted onto the network, the coordinator will visit them regularly, to make sure they continue to meet these standards and to support them as they continue to improve the quality of their childcare practice.
