Baking in Year 2
 
We have started our baking this year with a very tasty and easy-to-make chocolate cake. Try it out at home and let me know what you think!
 

Chocolate Refrigerator Cake

 

You will need:

·        175g unsalted butter

·        150g plain chocolate, broken into small pieces

·        2tbsp golden syrup

·        250g digestive biscuits

·        200g raisins

 

What you do:

 

  1. Heat the butter, chocolate and syrup gently in a pan. Leave to cool.

 

  1. Crush the biscuits with a rolling pin. 

 

  1. Mix together the biscuit, chocolate mixture and the raisins. 

 

  1. Spread the mixture in a baking tray. Press down with a fork. 

 

  1. Cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
