Our Spring Term Topic is:
How do we know Chester was once occupied by the Romans?
We will be finding out:

Who the Romans were.

Why they came to Britain and why their army was so successful.

What new ideas the Romans brought to Chester and what their homes were like.

Why they left Britain and what they left behind.
On Tuesday 26th February Year 5 & 6 will be guided by a Roman Soldier around Chester to see for themselves what legacies the Romans left behind. Look out for a letter which will be given out nearer the time!

Our science topics this term will be Keeping Healthy and Sound.

 Music In music this term we will be focusing on rounds- singing, playing repeating accompaniments and singing in two or more parts. In March we will visit the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool for a concert.
Bike Right cycling training starts on 21st January.
Year 5 PE is on Wednesday please remember to keep your PE kit in school.
