Baked Stuffed Marrows

Children in Year 6 have made a super savoury dish using marrows they grew themselves in the school garden!!

Not only did they grow the marrows but they researched various recipes on the internet on how to cook them.  The most popular recipe was Baked Stuffed Marrows.  After the "taste" test the general  view was "they taste delicious  and yes we would make this recipe again".

They had great fun in preparing this dish and thanks go to Helen our school Cook for supervising this activity.

Year 6 have started to prepare an area in the school grounds in order to plant fruit trees later on this month (November).

Pupils in year 6 digging 4 large holes ready to plant 3 apple trees and 1 plum tree.  School have purchased these trees with some of the money we were given for achieving level three with the Royal Horticultural Society. (R.H.S.)
