Week beginning 16.04.12
Welcome back to the Summer term. I hope you all had a relaxing break in spite of the weather! The rain didn't stop our hardy volunteers from working in our school garden, weeding, hoeing, painting and shovelling 20 tonnes of soil into the new planters! Many thanks to everyone who has helped us with this project, in particular Mrs Lyon, Mrs Saul (school governor) and Mr. Bate, who have given freely of their time and energy over many weeks. Many thanks also to those children and parents who accepted responsibility for the care of our seedlings over the Easter holidays - as soon as we gat some warmer weather we will transfer them to the new garden.
