It gives me great pleasure to provide details of this term’s Enrichment Curriculum As you will see, there is a huge variety of activities taking place after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and I hope that your sons and daughters will want to take part in many of these.

The vast majority of activities listed will be delivered by teachers. However, some activities - particularly some sports activities will involve coaches. All activities are expected to run for 10 sessions over the term. Generally, activities will run on consecutive weeks. However, occasionally there will be a break of a week to accommodate other school based events such as Parents’ Evenings. Click here for the calendar.

Some of the activities such as Junior Weights are being held at Broomfields Leisure Centre. There will be a small charge for these and the events should be booked via the Leisure Centre as places are limited. Similarly, we anticipate having some outside providers delivering enrichment activities in school for which there will be a small charge to cover costs. These will be bookable through school via the email address below.   An example of this is the repeat of last year’s hugely popular “Parkour Sessions”. We intend to add further activities such as Fencing and a Taster session of Chinese which will complement our core offer. With this in mind, if there is a course you think might prove popular or if you would like to approach the school with a view to putting on an activity please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Barlow at school on diane.barlow@bridgewaterhigh.com Equally if you feel that you would like to volunteer your support for an activity, especially sports activities, we would be delighted to hear from you.
