This week the children have read The Bog Baby (see link) and made their own bog babies out of blue plasticine! They have weighed their bog babies in maths and will be writing about them next week. We have also started learning about nocturnal animals, which we will continue over the next few weeks. Having enjoyed the story of Stanley's Stick, the children have used sticks in a number of ways. Please see the link folder 'Children as Butterflies' to see one way the children used sticks. | Our topic for the Summer Term is Glorious Gardens. We are learning about the wildlife of gardens: plants, minibeasts, life cycles, and habitats. The class will continue to explore the woods and Peace Garden in the school grounds. And we hope to make a visit outside of school to enrich the children's learning.
