Children at Daven have the opportunity to go on a variety of exciting and educational trips throughout the year. In Year 4, children will have the opportunity to spend two nights at the outdoor education centre at Delamere. Year 6 children have a three day visit to a P.G.L. Activty Centre
We believe very much in the children learning from first-hand experiences. This means that there may be occasions during your child's time at Daven School when a teacher may believe that a visit to somewhere of interest would improve the quality of the children's understanding.
To ensure these experiences are open to the children, we will write to parents asking for money to cover the cost of the activity or visit. Lack of parental funding could lead to cancellation of activities which would greatly benefit the children. We hope that you will understand the importance of these activities and give us your support. |
