This year we have decided to adopt a charity for the year and to try and raise as much money as possible for them. Our charity this year is D.R.I.P. (Direct Rainwater Intervention Project). It is a locally based charity on the Wirral, where people go out to Uganda and teach them how to harvest the rainwater and use it for a kitchen garden so that they can grow food. To launch our fundraising we had a 'wet sponge throwing' event.
Thank you to all the parents and children who supported our first fundraising event for D.R.I.P. We raised £95 - not bad for half an hours work! We certainly chose the right day for it as the weather was beautiful!
