Fresh Eggs at Moulton School

The chickens at Moulton are busy laying delicious eggs every day.  Parents and staff can take these eggs from the basket in the entrance hall, along with an egg box to store the eggs in.  Please leave a donation in the basket provided.

All eggs are dated with the day they were laid.  Eggs should be eaten within 28 days of the date of lay.  Eggs that you buy from the supermarket are already 2-3 weeks old by the time they reach the shelves, so why not treat yourself to something a little bit fresher.  Freshly laid eggs are best being left for 24 – 48 hours before being eaten though to allow them time to settle.
