Teaching and Learning: the school curriculum

One teacher has special responsibility for a class of children. In 2009/10 there are 7 classes accommodating the children as follows:

Miss Barker is an ECAR(every child a reader) teacher in Y1 every morning delivering 1-1 reading recovery support and is the Y1 class in the afternoons.

We are also part of a pilot initiative - ECAW (every child a writer) in Y3/4 where we have the support of a lead teacher working collaboratively to develop teacher expertise in high quality teaching of writing skills.

Teachers see parents on a regular basis so that you have the opportunity to discuss your child's progress.
