This term we are learning about Easter, New Life and Plants.
Literacy and Phonics
We will be learning about writing recounts, instructions, and non-fiction sentences especially in science lessons. We will also write the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and 'The Easter Story' near the end of term.
In Phonics we are continuing phase 5! ( and practising nonsense words for our phonics assessment)
Maths
In maths we will be learning strategies to remember number bonds to 10, then 20 and 100, doubling and halving numbers to 20, counting in 2,5,10 and reading and writing information in graphs and tables.
Science
Our topic is about plants and growing. We are learning about what plants need to survive, plants in our local environment and how to look after our world. We will become super scientists and are carrying out lots of experiments!
