Year 1's topic this term is Toys. We began our topic by bringing in a favourite toy from home and year 1 have done some super drawings which are now displayed in our classroom. During this topic we will be learning about toys in the past and how they have changed. We will also look at materials that toys are made from and how they have been made.

A lot of time in Year 1 is spend learning all our phonic blends, very important for reading and spelling.
