 The curriculum has been designed to place Personal, Social and Health Education, along with Citizenship at its heart. Every child in our school is special and, therefore, their education should be rounded and complete. Their intellectual development in English, mathematics and science, as well as technological skills, is of paramount importance to us so that our children are prepared to embrace life and learning to the highest possible standards.

 The children are given wide-ranging experiences and opportunities to express themselves in every way. Their individual abilities and talents are recognised, fostered and developed. Children are taught in single-age and mixed ability classes. Our teaching ensures that every child is given equal attention suited to their individual needs. At all times our aim is the pursuit of personal excellence. Lessons are structured and challenging, supported by excellent resources in all areas of the curriculum. In addition many visitors enhance and enrich our children’s learning - guest musicians, professional poets, theatre groups, and the Life Education Caravan add to our already exciting day to day curriculum. Targets and expectations are high. Through the purposeful partnership of children, parents and teachers we ensure that all our children have the opportunities and support to achieve beyond their potential.

Our children’s success is the result of a commitment displayed by a dedicated staff. It is also the result of teamwork and co-operation between everybody – our energetic children, our supportive parents, our enthusiastic PTA and our forward-looking governing body.
