After a really successful start,
St James's has been awarded the Eco Schools'
 Award
 
 IN-SCHOOL RECYCLING SCHEMES:
Ink Cartridges, Batteries and Mobile Phones:
If anyone has any old ink cartridges, batteries and mobile phones please recycle by placing them in the boxes in A1 (Mrs Owen). There is also an ink cartridge box in the staffroom. So far 163 ink cartridges have been collected and donated to charity.
Plastic Bottles:
Special bins are now available around school for recycling plastic bottles. Please make sure bottles are empty and remember to remove the caps.
DO NOT put any other rubbish in these bins.
Paper & Cardboard:

All classrooms should have paper recycling boxes and a recycling monitor. Cardboard can be recycled by placing it in the container in the locker corridor.
