Welcome to our E-Safety page. Here at Westbrook Old Hall we recognise the importance of the Internet in children's lives. It allows them to access infomation, learn more about the world around them and communicate with their friends and children across the world. Unfortunately though, there are times when the Internet can be a dangerous place for children. We feel that it is vital that we educate children about these potential dangers and teach them how to use the Internet safely.
During the week commencing 24th November 2008, we held an 'E-Safety week'. Throughout the week each class carried out age-appropriate activities that taught them how to keep safe online. Here is a selection of work from children throughout the school...
During our E-Safety week, we also had two 'E-Safety' meetings for parents and carers. The parents who attended found this particularly useful and eye-opening.
If you couldn't make it, don't worry as you can find lots of information and advice on this page. If you require any further information please email Miss O'Rourke.
