                                                 Welcome to Brierley Primary School
We are very proud of our school and our children, we hope that our website will give you an insight into our school family, our values and our aims. You are warmly invited to visit the school and see us in action.

Wordle created by the children at Brierley. Each class were asked to think of words  to describe us and the things we do here at Brierley. These are what they came up with. We are very proud of our wordle.
At Brierley we pride ourselves on an individual approach to every child. We recognise that every child is different and unique. Through our inclusive approach and our commitment to the particular needs of each child and their family, we aim to nurture and develop the potential of all. We aim to achieve excellence in all that we undertake in school.

We recognise that you are your children’s first and most important educators. The partnership between home and school is a vital one and we strongly encourage all parents and guardians to work with us to the benefit of the children.

FOB
 (Friends of Brierley)

FOB are parents & staff who organise fund raising projects such as cake sales, fairs, bingo evenings & non school uniform days in order to support the school by providing additional financial support for educational visits, christmas parties, discos and equipment for the children's classrooms.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to everyone who has helped at and attended our fund  raising events and for your continued support. Without this support we wouldn't be able to support the projects to date.

In November 2012 FOB funded a school visit to Knowsley Safari Park to compliment our topic on Africa. The day was a huge success and enjoyed by all. Please look at the Child and Parent Zone to see the fabulous photographs we took.

We would like to invite new & existing parents to come along to one of our meetings & join in with raising funds for OUR school.

EVERYONE is welcome, we are a friendly bunch who welcome new faces and new ideas. It is a good opportunity to meet other parents and take an active role in your child's years at Brierley.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but are willing to join our group by helping in any way you can, please leave your name and contact details at the office. Dates of forthcoming events are printed in the weekly news letter.

We appreciate that dates for meetings may not be convienient and are looking at alternate dates and time for future meetings; please let us know when would be convienient for you.

We hope to see you at our next meeting where a warm welcome, a cup of tea and biscuits will be waiting! Once again many thanks for your support. FOB
