This half term we are working with the Education Business Partnership to develop our enterprise skills. We have set up companies to promote Pendle as a tourist destination. Each company will give their presentation to a board of judges from the world of business.

We went on a trip to Pendle to explore some of the activities that visitors can enjoy.

Comments made by some Y5 pupils after their day out on Pendle:

"Fantastic views from the top of Pendle. I felt like I was on top of the world."

"The ladies at the Tourist Office were so kind. They answered loads of questions."

"I've never seen anywhere as interesting as that before!"

"I wonder if I could come here again and bring my family?"

Some children have been taking part in our after school Art Club. The results are stunning. Just look at the bright colours and 1960's inspired designs we've produced. The finished work is going into ten large frames and will be put on display for everyone to enjoy.
