Thinking maps are visual tools that foster and encourage lifelong learning. There are eight maps, each of which correspond to a thinking process:
  • Defining
  • Describing
  • Classifying
  • Comparing/contrasting
  • Sequencing
  • Seeing part-whole relationships
  • Distinguishing cause and effect
  • Seeing analogies
