The Exclusion Base
The Exclusion Base is housed within the building of Gilbrook School but operates separately from the main body of the school.
The Exclusion Base is available for use by all Wirral Primary Schools and charged on a daily rate. Transport to and from The Exclusion Base is provided and arranged by Gilbrook School.
The Exclusion Base takes children who are on a fixed term exclusion from their school. Each school liaises with the office at Gilbrook School to arrange access - 522 3900 ( Information and access forms are available on the Wirral VLE / Primary Behaviour Support / Additional Support)
The Exclusion Base provides differentiated education that is closely linked to the curriculum being delivered at each child's school. Guidance and support is given to promote appropriate behaviour on their return to school. A daily log is recorded detailing learning and behaviour and reported back to each school.
