v      Encourage children to show respect for others and their property

v      Encourage all children to work hard and do their best

v      Monitor children’s progress and keep parents regularly informed

v      Contact parents if there is a problem with a child’s work, behaviour or attendance and respond promptly to parent’s concerns.

v      Arrange parents evenings and send home annual reports

PARENTS WILL:

v      Encourage their children to show respect for others and their property

v      Make sure their child attends school regularly and arrives on time each day

v      Send in an absence note or telephone school immediately if  their child is absent even for one day

v      Attend parents’ evenings and encourage their children at all times to work hard and take pride in their school work

v      Make sure homework is finished on time and sent back to school and in all years the reading book is read regularly.

v      Respond to any communications from school concerning their children’s behaviour, attendance or school work
