Our new topic is 'Dinosaurs'!
We have been archeologists this week, digging for bones in the sand tray and arranging them in order of length and making our own fossils from salt dough. We know what fossils are and have used brushes and magnifying glasses to investigate fossils, rocks and bones in the tuff spot. We were lucky enough to have a look at some real fossils, bones and teeth that one of our grown ups gave us to look at.
REMINDER:
Sound keyrings and word books need to be in school DAILY
Water bottles need to be in school DAILY
Handwriting books need to be in school on a WEDNESDAY and will be returned to you on THURSDAY
Home reading books should be returned to school when your child is happy and confident reading the book and feels ready for a new one.
P.E is on a THURSDAY AND FRIDAY so P.E kits need to be in school.
