We have noticed an increasing number of our children taking items from their lunch boxes at break time. It is quite acceptable to provide your child with a snack at break but it should be a piece of fruit. Crisps and chocolate bars are not allowed. We have Healthy Schools status and encourage our children, wherever possible, to eat a healthy and balanced diet.
Also we have had a couple of outbreaks of Headlice!! Can we urge you to check your children's hair please and treat them accordingly. We are aware that headlice treatment is expensive but a nit comb and conditioner is still very effective-Thank you.

Every child has been given a house badge with their house colour on it. House points will be awarded for doing the right thing, being respectful, helpful and generally well mannered etc. They can be awarded by any member of our school community. There is a display in the lower atrium and it will be the House captain's job to collect points on a Friday to be announced in Monday's assembly. There will be rewards for the house with the most points.
