Katie Morag
This term we will be learning all about the character Katie Morag from the books written by Mairi Hedderwick. We will be investigating the Isle of Struay, studying the geographical features and comparing it to the Wirral. Then we will study tartan patterns and design our own! We will also explore electricity: how it is used, how to stay safe, how to make a circuit and finally use our knowledge to build a new lighthouse for Katie's island home!
The Way The Truth and The Life
Our topics for this term are 'Good News' where we will explore how Jesus brought the good news of God's love to us all. Then we will learn about 'Mass'. What happens at each part of Mass and how can we grow in our understanding of this special time.
