In History and Geography we try to bring learning alive by holding exciting days and going on visits. So far this year we have had:

Pirate week where we all dressed up as pirates for the day;

Chinese New Year Celebration for F2, Y1 & Y2;

Viking day for Y3 & Y4;

Indian day for Y1 & Y2 and we lots more exciting activities to follow.
Our topics are now led by what the children want to know. At the start of each topic the children decide what they want to find out. This helps to keep our topics exciting, as the children know what's coming next and want to learn more and more.

ICT - We use ICT all the time. We have a large ICT
suite with 20 machines in. Each classroom also has
its own Smartboard and computer.
We are very fortunate with our outdoor areas. We
have a large sports field, adventure playground, quiet
area with benches and a wildlife garden for scientific
research. |
