What do we do?
Bunbury Aldersey PTA exists to promote the involvement of parents at school events with the objective of raising funds for school projects. Mrs Thacker (Headteacher) and staff propose items that are required and this is discussed and finalised at PTA meetings.
Throughout the year, we organise a variety of social events. Annual events include the Summer BBQ, Quiz Evening and Christmas Fair. All money raised is used for the benefit of all the children at Bunbury School. We are also a member of the PTA-UK (formally NCPTA). Our membership provides us with important liability insurance and also gives us guidance for all aspects of the PTA.
We are always looking for new fundraising ideas, so if you have any suggestions please let us know!

PTA Funding
We are proud to have provided funding in 2011 for much needed ICT equipment, a Royal Wedding celebration and to cover transportation costs for the annual Christmas theatre visit.
Current fundraising goals include improvements to the outdoor learning environment and provision of sports equipment.
