SCHOOL UNIFORM
Parents and governors at Brierley agree that all children should wear school uniform. There is a description of our school uniform below.
A royal blue school sweatshirt or cardigan.
Black or grey school trousers, skirt or pinafore
White or blue school shirt or polo shirt.
Sensible black school shoes
PE CLOTHING
-
Blue or Black Shorts
-
Plain White T-shirt
-
Black slip on pumps
Junior pupils may wear trainers for outdoor games (also tracksuit bottoms, or legging etc if the weather is cold).
Sweatshirts, cardigans and T-shirts bearing the school name can be purchased at the school office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. We also stock a number of other items such as PE kits, School bags, reversable fleeces and more. A school order form can be downloaded here. These items represent good value for money, look smart and wear well. All items of clothing should be clearly marked with your child’s name. We expect children to be sensibly dressed throughout the school day and this includes having a change of appropriate clothing for PE. Jeans, tracksuits, football shirts, and trainers are not acceptable as school uniform
SWIMMING
Swimming lessons require sensible trunks or bathing costume and towel. Goggles and nose clips are not permitted, until your child is a competent swimmer (pool regulations).
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL BELONGINGS ARE NAMED
JEWELLERY IS NOT PERMITTED FOR SAFETY REASONS
