My name is Miss Millington and I am one of the Reception Teachers here at Mossley.

My name is Mrs Swift and I am the other Reception Teacher at Mossley School.

We hope you have had a lovely Easter break and that you have managed to get away for some sunshine!
The children were given their first Learning Journey Log homework over the holidays and we hope that they have managed to have a good go at doing this (please see the left-hand side of this webpage for the documents that you need) . We are certainly looking forward to seeing what they have done.
Our topic for the next half term is 'OUR SCHOOL, OUR TOWN, OUR WORLD'. More specifically, we will be looking at the homes and buildings in our local area and comparing them to what they were like in the past.
 
We will also be thinking about the homes of animals that live in our local area and how we can protect them.

This is where every FRIDAY one child from each class will be awarded a variety of prizes for their brilliant writing!
It may be that the individual child has progressed in an area of writing that they previously found difficult, they could have written in a really interesting way or that their confidence in their own ability to write has grown.
Please remember to send any WOW stars in. It has been so nice to read so many about how well the children are doing with their reading and writing and also the many other achievements such as their swimming, sharing and brilliant experiences.

Here I am with my long-term boyfriend Edward.
I am the Charity Co-Ordinator for the school and a memeber of the D&T and Art Team.
I also help run the High 5's netball team which is a sport I too loved when at school and played in many matches and tournaments.
During my spare time I enjoy eating out (a little too much), going to the cinema and Shopping - its my greatest hobby!
If and when I have the time I like going to the gym or for a run and will occasionally go down to my local swimming pool.
I love spedning time with my Friends and Edward but always look forward to a big sunday roast with my family at home, especially when followed by my mums home made puddings!!

This is me and my little boy Harry.
I am the Subject Leader for the Humanities team and a member of the Literacy Team.
I also like to keep the cross country runners on their toes. Due to
the cold and wet weather and a waterlogged field cross country will commence again in the new year.
Out of school I am a Mummy to my little boy Harry, who, at the age of 2, is definitely keeping me on my toes! I enjoy spending time sampling my husband Andrew's brilliant cooking and being with friends and family. As a family we love nothing more than going for walks and to the park.
