All schools have a duty to ensure robust safeguarding measures are in place.
At Healey we take this duty very seriously.
All staff are aware of safeguarding proceedures with three members of staff Designated Safeguarding Officers; Mrs Taylor, Mrs Ainley and Mrs Whitworth.
There is also a Designated Safeguarding Governor; Mrs P Simms.

The Governing Body has a designated sub committee - Personnel and Safeguarding - who's duty is to ensure the school complies with all safeguarding requirements at both local and national level. The chair of this committee is Mrs A Sexton.
The committee meets once every half term to monitor safeguarding in school. |
