The Fallibroome Academy > Curriculum > Science

At Fallibroome all students study science until the end of Year 11. They are encouraged to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts together with the skills required to plan and carry out investigative work. Students are made aware of the importance of Science to society and learn to evaluate its impact objectively.

The department is large; there are fourteen experienced teachers with expertise in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. They are supported by a team of technicians who service the ten well equipped laboratories.

The subject is popular with students as evidenced by the large numbers who choose to study the subject at A level. Many of these students go on to study Science, Medicine or Vetinary Science at university including Oxbridge.
