We are a small, Church of England Controlled Primary School, set in the ruralvillage of Capenhurst, near Chester.  The school was built in 1893 and has undergone interior modernisation to provide purposeful, well-equipped classrooms.          

The school has a warm, friendly atmosphere and fosters a close relationship with the families of our children and the local community.

Children are at the heart of all we do. We have high expectations of all pupils regardless of their abilities and strive to ensure that each child reaches their maximum potential, intellectually, emotionally and socially.  We value good manners and behaviour, believing that care, trust and respect for each other provides the best environment for learning.  Above all we want our children to enjoy their time with us, because we believe that happy children learn better!
