WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL AFTER EASTER!
What an important and exciting term we have to look forward to both in the classroom and on the sportsfield. For the Year 6s, this is their last term at Saughall All Saints so I'm hoping we can all make it very special :) To do this, we all need to make sure we are continuing to work as a team as well as pushing ourselves individually in the classroom and on the sportsfield. I am hoping that everyone is eager to impress in their lessons and that you are all thinking about taking on a challenge this term, whether it be joining an after-school club or trying to focus on your targets in the classroom.
Like I said back in September, I believe it is very important to be a team. I've learnt that from playing football and other team sports all my life. You can really achieve more when you work together. However, there are other times when you need to concentrate on yourself and ensure that you learn as best you can. That is why I will encourage you to be both independent and a team-player. Let's keep working together to make a happy learning environment in the classroom and a confident team on the sportsfield by trying our hardest to encourage each other and work hard to better ourselves individually in everything we do.

Last year, my Year 6s produced some excellent work. That is because they truly valued what they did in the classroom and were very proud of what they achieved. They were very happy children and have left with a lot of confidence for secondary school :) This is some of the fantastic artwork they produced last year:
Together, we can make this an AMAZING term and I hope you are all ready to challenge yourselves and enjoy your learning.
