Welcome to Hollinhey Primary School, Your School at the Heart of the Local Community...
Hollinhey Primary School is a small rural school tucked away in Sutton, Macclesfield. Despite our consistently high level of achievement and considerable press coverage, there are a number of people who do not know where we are.
Hollinhey is set in fantastic grounds surrounded by countryside. The children have many facilities including Gosling's Before and After School Club, two large playgrounds, a huge playing field, a quiet area and paths through a resplendent willow arch. There are two large climbing frames as well as small outdoor play activities available each playtime. Recently, the Foundation Stage area has been improved, paths widened for an outdoor classrooom and the Wild Area has been sectioned to provide even more opportunities for Outdoor Learning.
The classrooms are big and well-resourced in order to provide a broad and balanced curriculum, including a "state of the art" ICT Suite.
The staff and children at Hollinhey are friendly and enjoy coming to school. We believe in working in partnership with our Governors, parents and local community in order to achieve the best for everyone.
