Welcome to Year 2
We are Green Class!
In Year 2 our teacher is Mrs Healy . Mrs Parkinson helps teach us very morning.Mrs Roberts teaches us Science . Miss Cui teaches us Chinese once a week too!
In Year 2 we pride ourselves on being the oldest infants.
Our first topic is Islands and Pirates. We will learn all about Katie Morag , create our own island home and join in some pirate adventures.

In Literacy we are concentrating on our comprehensions skills and learning to write for lots of different reasons. We especially enjoy doing our BIG WRITE work linked to our topics. We play lots of games on the smartboard in Literacy follow the links to try them out. BBC Bitesize Literacy, Phonic Play and Words and Pictures.
Mrs Roberts teaches us Science on Monday afternoon. We do lots of practical and exciting experiments and investigations.
We will learn about China and have a Chinese New Year celebration with Miss Cui.
last year the children made made a Chinese dragon. They printed Chinese patterns on its body.
