Holy Trinity Church, Mossley is situated on the crossroads where Leek Road and Reades Lane meet Biddulph Rd. The church and parish of Mossley was formed in 1845. Today the church forms part of the Congleton Team Ministry which also includes St. Peter’s and St. Stephen’s in town and St. John’s at Buglawton
Our Vicar The Revd. Canon David Taylor
“Mr Taylor” (that’s what he likes to be called) used to work in secondary schools where he was a teacher of French and Spanish. He is a school governor and regularly comes into school to take assembly with each Key Stage.
Sunday Services at Holy Trinity
8:00 a.m. Holy Communion (Traditional Service)
10:00 a.m. Morning Worship
1st Sunday “Together for Worship” A service for all
ages lasting about 45 minutes with
refreshments to follow.
2nd Sunday Holy Communion A more traditional sung
service.
3rd Sunday Morning Worship A less formal service often
including a Baptism.
Also KIDS+ In Mossley Village Hall (see
below)
4th Sunday Holy Communion as above
Children are welcome at all these services. Creche space and toys are available at the back of church. “Together for Worship” and KIDS+ have children and young families very much in mind.
Storytelling, songs, crafts and other activities.
KIDS+ is a special time for children aged 3-7
years plus parents/carers. An hour of fun
focused around younger children followed by
refreshments. 3RD Sunday of each month in
Mossley Village Hall. |
