Leeds Young People's Film Festival is proud to present the 7th edition of the National Young Filmmakers' Award (NYFA) which showcases the best new films made by young people from across the UK.
They are looking for short films (under 10 mins) in any category - fiction, documentary or animation and in any genre - comedy, horror, drama, fantasy, sci-fi. Whatever you make, they want to show it! The shortlisted films will be screened at a special event in the 2010 Leeds Young People's Film Festival taking place at Easter and will be judged by a panel of industry experts including filmmakers, producers, journalists and funders. The winning filmmaker in each age category will win £250 towards their next project.
So if you are aged 0 - 19 and have made a short film (either on your own, at school or with an organisation) then send it NOW! If you want to enter and haven't started your film yet or it's not finished, then don't worry - you have until Friday 18th December to send it to us.
Visit the film festival site for more information and an entry form. |
