Welcome to Highfields Governing Body.
Our team is made up of 14 members, which consist of parents, staff, community governors and members of the local authority.
As a team we are collectively responsible for determining, monitoring and keeping under review the broad policies, plans and procedures within which the school operates.
Highfields Governing Body is divided into three sub committees; these are Teaching and Learning, Community and Environment and Leadership and Management. Each sub committee meets every term and reports back to the full Governing Body. Our main objectives as a governing body are to support and challenge initiatives in school, to be ultimately accountable for the schools operation and to provide the strategic overview for the school.
