Barlow Institute
The Barlow Memorial Institute in Edgworth provides
a wonderful meeting place for the village community
which is once more seeing increased usage.
Our school is lucky enough to use their main hall
and stage for our Year 5 & 6 productions.

Brownies
The Brownies Guides meet in our school hall on Tuesday evenings.
Chess Club
The Chess Club takes place at school on Thursday evenings and is suitable for ages 6-16 years with all abilities.
Edgworth Bowling Club
The children have bowling lessons and take part in competitions mainly over the Summer term.
Edgworth Medical Centre
Mrs. Grundy has kindly accepted our request to display children's artwork in the corridor of the doctor's surgery. Thank You!
Class S have created these colourful school logo designs using paint. Well done Class S!
Edgworth Methodist Church
This church is situated immediately in front of our school.
We enjoy visiting church on special occasions including
Easter & Harvest.
Jumbles Children's Nursery
Several our our new reception children have previously attended this nursery.
We are working together to make closer links and create smooth transitions from
Nursery to School.
Olives Bistro
Olives is a bar/restaurant in the village. The PTFA hold their meetings at this venue to discuss fundraising for the school.
The children have created decorations for the twinkly tree in the bar area.
Scallywags Pre-School
Many of our new reception children join us from Scallywags.
We are working to build a closer relationship with the staff and children
of this Pre-School.
School's Out
This is a Before and After School Club that is held in the Methodist Church building.
St. Anne's Church
This church is situated in Chapeltown.
The children make visits to the church as part of their class topic work.
We also look forward to the Christmas Carol Service that is held in this church.
Tower Shukokai Karate Club
The Karate club takes place in the school hall on Saturday mornings.
Pupils of our school enjoy being a part of this fantastic club
that is run by Martyn Skipper (Parent & Governor of School).
