Rebound is a quality second hand book shop in Blackburn. We are a not-for-profit training initiative and we are part of Bootstrap Enterprises. The shop depends on donated books and operates with the main focus on training long-term unemployed people to work in Retail Customer Service and Food Service environments. Our trainees are referred via the Job Centre’s Work Programme and Work Choice initiatives to enable long term unemployed people to gain support on their journey into work.
We are trying to get hold of some book shelves/racking for our stock room and would like to ask schools to consider donating to us if they are throwing any out at any point. If any schools have equipment to donate, please could they contact Jenny Potter, Work Placement Training Manager, on 01254 299800 or email Jenny.Potter@bootstrap.org.uk
