Dear Star of the Future.

 

How does a full week playing Cricket or Football or both sound?  Would you like to receive over 25 hours of coaching, improve your game and have lots of fun?  This year we have enlisted the skills of a female PE Teacher and will be offering the option of Girls Multi-Sports, including activities such as aerobics and basic cheerleading.

 

Returning for its 5th Year Darwen Cricket Club's Sports Camp takes place from Monday 17th August to Friday 21st August.  The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment, small coach-to-child ratios and great facilities and equipment.  Boys and girls aged between 5 and 15 are welcome.

 

Head Coaches Andrew Mercer and Chris Lowe are both ECB cricket coaches and FA qualified football coaches.  Both have played for Darwen's 1st XI for over 10 years, they are CRB checked, First Aid trained and have vast experience of working with children both in a school and club environment.

 

The week will consist of football or girls multi-sports in the mornings 9.00am-11.45am and cricket or girls multi-sports in the afternoons 12.15-3.00pm.

The total cost of the week is £60.00 (£10.00 discount for sibling bookings).

Or £35.00 for just mornings or afternoons. Everybody taking part will receive a certificate and a prize.  We are also running a breakfast club this year, where you can enjoy cereal and juice with your friends from 8am onwards at a cost of just £2.50 a day or £10 for the whole week.

 

To secure your place a deposit of £15.00 is required as soon as possible as places are limited (Cash or cheque payable to ‘Friends of Darwen Cricket Club’ accepted).  Please send your deposit and booking form to Andrew Mercer, Granville, Oldfield Avenue, Darwen  BB3 1QY.
