World War I
World war I began on 28 July 1914 and lasted until 11 November 1918. The two sides were the Allies (France, Russia, United Kingdom) and the central powers (Italy, Germany, Austria-Hungary). On the 28 June 1914 the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne Franz Ferdinand was assasinated in Sarajevo,  Bosnia. Austria-Hungary blamed Serbia for the assasination and declaired war on the 28th of July.
They used powerful weapons to help them provent from getting hurt. Also the soliders in world war 1 used all these weapons during the fight but unfortunatly many did die.
