Two football teams representing the school played well on Friday, with one team drawing 3-3 and the second being norrowly beaten 1-0 by opponents from St Josephs School. The results didn't really reflect the games as the home teams had the majority of possession but could not break the resolution of the respective keepers. Well done to all concerned! 

Congratulations to the Year 4 children who enjoyed a most successful residential Visit to York. It was a pleasure to accompany them and see their faces as they entered York Minster and the Jorvik Museum, the Dig and Eureka. Well done to all concerned!!

The children throughout the school have recently produced introductory letters which have been sent to our partner primary school in Kenya. It is hoped that the Kenyan children will reply in the near future.

Well done to the children in Year 3 who led the Remembrance Service in school for the rest of the children. They had researched the meaning behind the selling of poppies and led a moving tribute culminating in a two minutes silence.
