Our school has been placed 18th nationally in the Sunday Times ‘Parent Power’ survey. This guide to the best schools in the country, measured by the criteria of the Sunday Times, is produced annually. This result moves the school up one place from the 19th position achieved in 2008 in the table of High Schools with no sixth form. This further recognition of the success of the school is to the credit of pupils, parents and staff.
I am delighted to be able to announce that the school has achieved the national Inclusion Quality Mark with effect from November 2009. In addition to the considerable amount of written evidence provided by the school we were also visited by external assessors who met with pupils, parents, governors and staff.
The assessors were very impressed with what they experienced in our school and were extremely complimentary both in their verbal feedback and in the written report (Full report available on this website – Report).
