Unfortunately, today's Easter event has been postponed due to the weather conditions. If you have baked cakes, please bring them along to school tomorrow and they will be sold after school. Thank you!

Please check the News page tomorrow morning at 7.45 am for a weather update. We will do our best to keep the school open as normal. Should the school need to close, a text message will be sent to parents and carers.

Wildlife Garden - 11 February 2013 - Mr Harley

Thank you to the wonderful team of volunteers who gave up their time over the weekend to help prepare the 'pond area' for its conversion to a new 'Wildlife Garden'. Thank you to the parents who helped remove the fencing and conifer on Friday night. A team of willing helpers then spent Saturday morning getting the area ready for the contractors. A huge THANK YOU to everyone involved!

The region continues to be affected by snowy conditions and there may be further snow tomorrow. We are expecting school to be open as normal on Monday and will post an announcement at 8.00 am on the Learning Platform. Thank you for your continued support and hope you are all keeping yourselves safe and warm over the weekend.

School is Staying Open! - 18 January 2013 - Mr Harley

Good morning once again!

The weather at Tilston remains much the same as it was at the start of the day with snow continuing to fall. We have been informed that this picture is likely to stay through the day and the school will remain open. If you are concerned about your journey to and from school, please telephone the school office on (01829) 250204 and we will be more than happy to advise you. The T Factor, planned for 1.15 pm, will go ahead. Snow and a talent show all in one day.....

Weather Update - 17 January 2013 - Mr Harley

The latest forecast data is suggesting that a significant, fairly widespread and potentially very disruptive snow event threatens our region. Whilst there remains some uncertainty on the timing, amount and duration of snow there is an increasing consensus that the region will experience a period of snowfall during Friday and Friday night.

If the weather is going to affect the opening of school, we will make an announcement as soon as we can via the ‘news’ section of the Learning Platform at www.tilston.cheshire.sch.uk If the school is closed this will also be announced on Dee FM on 106.3 FM.
